Hi Steve

Thank you for this bright idea. It looks like WFS is seeking to revitalize and renew. This first step of creating themed sessions or tracks is one that the Minnesota Futurists have been talking about internally and with Sue. The core interests have much in common with your themes and might prove to be vital along with the standard individual submissions.

I know that Lynn Burton's student driven Applied Foresight Network at Simon Fraser in Vancouver has a set of core ideas that could easily fall within this arena and be attractive to the communities which WFS is trying to attract.

I think that there are a couple of vital programs at the graduate level here in Minnesota and elsewhere that would see this as a positive step

We look forward to participating by working with you and in developing parallel contributions to the WFS2007 effort

best

tom
